Hi,.

I don't know how many D35 have been sold.
The D35 has been out for about 2 mths now.
And I have noticed that there has only been one post for support for it.
It looks like it is a good sturdy unit,or they haven't sold many. I hope it is the first statement,
Could also be that there is no free updates except the map guarantee.
So no corrupted flash memories.

I don't see the D35 in the 'GPS Model' drop down box. I sent an email regarding this 8 days ago and haven't yet received a response. Am I able to register it online?

Emax,.

I see what you mean.
Try this, when you fill in the registration leave the model as model.
Then put in your serial number.
Serial number might be enough with out the model.

If this does not work ring support on,, 1300 988004 or 0298703388
8am to 5pm.

If you go to the update page:

It states:

The D, G and M Series offer perpetual free updates for critical fixes and map reporter feedback.

This includes new turn restrictions, major roads and highways.

To download - Click Here


You can follow the link and select the D35 and it tells you:

To update a D35 device, click on the download link. When the download window appears, select Save and choose a known location to store the file for reuse if required. Once the file is downloaded select Run. The wizard will start in a few moments to guide you through the update process.

But there is no link and another line:

Please note there are no free updates for D35 devices

So which page is correct

The D series product gets the map guarantee update at up to 30 day s after time of purchase. This includes new map data which may have been released after the map version on the purchased product.
G and M series owners get free updates for the life of their product. D series products will need to purchase map upgrades.
