It ws interesting to see that the older L series was used rather than the M series, most surprising was the postion that most were in high on the windscreen, that in Victoria can earn you a fine, the unsung assett of the L series is the flexible mount, for our Mitsubishi Colts that have a very sloping windscree far from the driver, we were able to make 2 dash top mounts for $5 and with the flexible neck bent into a gooseneck have a close mounting and also very secure. A simple solution compared with what many Americans try to mount their G.P.S
It's also interesting that Current Affair continues deceiving the public with unethical journalism.
Years ago when FAI Home Security were selling alarm systems and Current Affairs wanted to help fuel the fire on an FAI v Public dispute, they interviewed a supposed 'expert' in the field who gave a very low rating on an earlier model system, which Current Affair then cleverly edited and purportedly promoted as being the latest system.
I suppose the point that Mike Munro (Current Affair) disliked neighbour Brad Cooper (FAI) probably had nothing to do with it ;)
