I read a post a month or so back that mentioned an inexpensive external speaker, made for an iPod or something that worked with the G35 & sold @ K-Mart or BigW, & haven't been able to relocate the post.
Can any one throw some light on it please?

Yu can pick up may types of external speaker kits from Jaycar, kmart. JB hifi etc or build one yourslf. Just make sure you get the correct plug or you will need an adaptor plug as well.

I have not tried this unit - take your GPS with you, my M35 has an (uncommon) 2.5 mm plug - if required a 2.5 to 3.5 is a few $$ at Jaycar. ---

I picked up one of the Crest speakers from Big W after reading the post in the link above and I'm very pleased with it. It can't lay straight against the GPS because it interferes with the external power lead but that's about it. I actually had to turn the volume down a bit in the GPS :).
