If your going to update around Brissy Airport, you might want to look at the speed limits as well, as most of them around the Airport are still reading 50k, this was so when the road works where going on!

As well as the Airport could you update the speed limits from the airport to north to the Deagan deviation as the speeds have changed along this route as well.

besides leaving the advice here it is probably quicker if you report it direct on the Map reporting site which is set up for this. It lets you pinpoint the area on a map and makes adjustments quicker.

Hi Kelvin, it is best to pull up at the speed sign and open up the statistics and write down the Latitude and longitude coordinates, open google earth type in the lat and long and place a bookmark, rename the bookmark eg heading east along ... highway 50 km. Once you have the bookmarks. Save the file and email the file to speedalert. Google search will give you the link for reporting

Since getting my G43 I've oft pondered the difficulty of accurately recording Map & SpeedAlert database errors whilst driving - to report later via the website.

If this involves any significant delay to the driver, realistically it just ain't gonna happen.

Why doesn't Laser add a feature to the software (at least Beta versions) which, when you press, say the top centre of the top dark strip on the screen (below the Navig8r logo), takes a snapshot of the current position (Lat/Long as well as date/time) in a file (GPX format like the Tracks, so it can be imported into Google Earth, if reqd). Some audio/visual feedback would be required - to confirm it had worked.

If it were also possible to record the currently navigated road as a comment that would be even better. I think such a system would go a long way to getting (at least) speed zone changes accurately reported.

The navig8r has a record feature button. Click menue-record-back the menue will turn red to show that the trip is recording. You can then use a sd card reader or plug your nav into the computer, open up google earth click file open and then go into your mobile navigator folder and click on tracks

Thanks trevncarm. But this isn't quite what I meant. The Record feature records a track - from the time you enable it to the time you turn it off. I was after a means of noting a single point location whenever you touched on a special area of the screen (say as you were passing a speed sign which SpeedAlert had recorded incorrectly - or when Karen had given incorrect directions...)

When I go out on a trip, I try to take my G43 and programme it to navigate there -even if I know the way. But I find it really difficult to recall all the navigation quirks/SpeedAlert errors when I get back home.
